Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist Landmen with procedures and preparation of land related reports, spreadsheets, research, well set-up, lease purchase reports, exhibit preparation, and partner communication.
  • Assist in preparation and circulation of correspondence, assignments, releases and contracts (JOA, Declaration of Pool, and Letter Agreements).
  • Insure that processes are in place to inform the Landmen about time sensitive matters such as due dates for Non-operated well elections and lease expirations.
  • Proof and route land invoices for approval, prepare check requests and track all charges for the land department.
  • Prepare and track election letters for wells on the drilling schedule. Provide Landmen with list of participating and non-participating parties and set-up participating parties to receive well data.
  • Create Land Well Files.

Experience and Skills


  • 3+ years of experience in Oklahoma as a Land Technician, Land Assistant and/or Land Analyst is required
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office, including Word, Excel and Outlook
